Juniper Berries

(Juniperus communis)
  • strengthens adrenal gland
  • very effective at increasing the flow of urine by stimulating the kidney output
  • useful as an urinary antiseptic

Uva Ursi

(Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)
  • soothes, strengthens, disinfects and tones the mucous membranes of the urinary passage
  • stimulates kidney activity

Buchu

(Agathosma betulina)
  • effective in the chronic irritability of the bladder, when there is a frequent desire to urinate
  • has been used for infection, and enlargement of the prostate, and first stage diabetes

Parsley Root

(Petroselinum sativum)
  • specific for the adrenal glands
  • inhibits salt reabsorption which accounts for its diuretic effects
  • high in iron and potassium

Marshmallow Root

(Althea offic.)
  • soothing and healing to any inflamed condition of the urinary tract
  • valuable in strangury, (slow and painful discharge of urine)

Cayenne

(Capsicum annum)
  • a powerful stimulant
  • acts as a catalyst and carrier for other herbs

CAUTION: Pregnancy & Lactation -

Use under care of a qualified practitioner during pregnancy & lactation. Contraindications - Not to be taken with kidney disease. 1/2 to 1 teaspoon three times a day. Dropsy (Edema): In severe water retention cases this formulae can be used in higher doses than usually recommended. It is excellent when taken in warm water. Kidney Infections: Use in conjunction with ECHINACEA PLUS or B-CL PLUS to help combat the infection. Kidney Stones: Use with Queen of the Meadow Root tea. (1 tsp. of DI-PLUS and 1 cup of tea 4 times a day) Potassium, helps establish the proper chemical balance in body fluids. B-100 Formula and B-6 Vitamins, support to the glands, liver and kidneys. Vitamin A & D for healthy lubrication of the membranes. Vitamin C. for the antiinflammatory responses in the tissues of the kidneys.
